Patient diagnosed with androgenic alopecia (male pattern baldness) with no other causes of hair loss
21 years or older
Procedure details:
Local anaesthesia is administered to ensure the procedure is painless
Donor area: Hair in the donor area is trimmed to about 2mm. Individual hair follicle units are carefully extracted using Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)technique
Recipient area: Extracted follicles are then transplanted to the recipient site, ensuring natural hairline appearance
Post-procedure:
Minimal pain for the first one or two days
Gentle hair washing is advised after 2-3 days
Medications, including topical minoxidil, may be prescribed long-term
Hair growth typically starts at 3 months, with full growth by 8-12 months
